RumpusA rumpus room – sometimes referred in some household as family room s- looks great once organised the right Feng Shui way.

One of my client’s tastefully reorganised their rumpus combining their intents and my Feng Shui suggestions. The gym equipment is now behind the seats – which means not so obviously in sight – and the decor of the room is simple and classy.

Frame the framesMoreover, they are keen on a new pregnancy and at the same time, they both wanted to get closer to their interstate family. They rearranged their photo frames placing them all in the outline of a well-balanced rectangle. I was happy to see in the middle of them all, my beautiful ‘Fertility’ enhancer nicely framed too.

Their results came fast, within about a month, they were planning to move interstate closer to their family. Getting the frames closer together inside an imaginary shape enhanced the intent of the family getting closer together . As per today, the husband is about to sign a new work contract.

Roseline Deleu (Feng Shui Steps.com) interviews
Jose Toussaint (wynnummarket.com.au)

1.      Please Jose, tell our readers briefly WHEN, HOW, WHERE or in WHICH circumstances we met
I met Roseline in Brisbane when I saw an add posted for a Feng Shui workshop in 2005. I recently migrated to Australia and was looking for likeminded people. I contacted Roseline and we stayed in contact ever since. It is always a real pleasure when Roseline visits us at Wynnum Market.

2.      Since we met, could you share what is the most interesting Feng Shui result that you have experienced?
extravagant decor with recycled goodsI have noticed that as soon as you look after ‘magic square’ sector 4, your business works better 🙂 Also I have learned when you purchase secondhand items such as mirrors, some ‘odd’ energy is  attached to it. Roseline has often shown us when she visits Creative Treasures @ Wynnum Market how changing things around, the energy flows better and business changes in a positive way.

3.      Let’s talk more about you now Jose… Tell us a little about yourself and your shop “Creative Treasures @ Wynnum Market”
Each client is importantOriginally Holland, I migrated first 12 years to New Zealand, which I loved. We came to Australia in 2005. I have always loved selling things and have done markets for a long time (since I was 12). Filing up cars and emptying when going and packing up the markets can be somehow very tiring so we thought why not opening a shop and have our stock in there and see if other people like to share with us. That’s how Creative Treasures @ Wynnum Market was created.

largest choice of vinyl4.      What are the five words that people would use to describe “Creative Treasures @ Wynnum Markets?
Exciting – Great Customer Service – Handmade – Music & Books – Vintage & Collectables

5.      What was the purpose of starting “Creative Treasures @ Wynnum Market” and how has the concept come about?
local brisbane exhibitionTo create a store for everyone. To give local artists the opportunity to expose their art and crafts. It is a place where exhibitors rent a space like they do at the markets. The difference, is that they don’t have to carry their items in and out daily. The other good point is that we get NEW exhibitors regularly and stock varies constantly.

 “Creative” = Art & crafts     “Treasures” = Collectables      @
“Wynnum” = is our locality   “Market” = many different people exposing their art and craftwork in our store in Wynnum Central.

6.      What are your best recommendations?
BE part of Wynnum Market
VISIT us first in person to see if this is for you.
SEE if you like our store and connect to the concept.

For customers, when you really like a product and you want to have it, there is an option to lay-by for four weeks or put on hold for 24 hrs.

7.      Tell us more about what you provide to your exhibitors and clients?
local Wynnum Manly products and artists
We sell products/items on behalf of our clients, so they don’t have to be there and have time to work on their hobby or work elsewhere.

Each artist or exhibitor rents their space in Wynnum Market.
We make sure their area stays clean and well organised. We give our clients the opportunity to hold workshops in our store.

We host Workshops in art & craft as well as Motivational Talks.

Once a month you can come to our African Drumming evening workshop.

We are involved in Bayside Women in Business. (if you are a woman, you are in business!)

8.      Tell us about one of your Secrets?
Our secret is to provide the best customer service, treat every person with respect and be happy for each person that you sell for in Creative Treasures @ Wynnum Market.
We mainly aim to have and sell LOCAL products made in Australia and to sell unique items.

9.      What advice can you offer to people who are just discovering Wynnum Markets?
vintage clothes BrisbaneAs a customer, take your time to look around, as there is much to see and take in.

There is a section for new and handmade items (Creative) and an area with collectables and vintage clothing (Treasures).

What is important to know, an item you might see and really like, might not be there next time you visit us! Often it is a one off product or the exhibitor is moving on.

2nd hand books wynnum10.  Do you have a book that you would like to recommend?
I believe there is a special book for each person that visit us in Wynnum Market

While clients often book me to enhance Health, Love and Wealth, these days I am more and more often requested to help with Fertility issues.

where should dogs sleep in feng shuiIn Megan’s case, their two big dogs were sleeping on their mats in the master bedroom. It was indeed a bit crowded there.

After my suggestion of moving the dogs outdoors, Megan became pregnant within 6 weeks ! The couple is in their early 40′ and that they had been through IVF many times for the past 8 years. The dogs were symbolically taking the place of the potential baby.

Moving Object to fill Void

Fill Void in Feng ShuiNew house designs can trigger interesting Feng Shui questions. The most common that I encountered recently is the ‘void’ above the entrance/foyer.
How is Chi flowing? Upwards in most cases! That is when we’ll have lots of ups and downs in life unless we come up with an interesting Feng Shui ‘cure’ to help Chi flow first downstairs then upstairs.

It is then that we choose an intricate long light to fill the gap in order to keep Chi flowing happily.

Moving object to fill voidIt is important to have a lovely object in this void: choose a moving object that corresponds to your taste – it does not need to be necessarily a light even though a light needs to be present in that void in one or another way.

This picture illustrates a large void in a Shopping Center, may it inspire you to have something with similar impact in your home: Chi flows and meanders, objects are curved and lovely.
