As usual, I was tempted to put it off (again and again) because it was never ‘the right time’. I was quite stressed just finishing my work contract and plenty of other things at hand!
Now,  I am so proud and happy that I completed the 5 day Training to become a Feng Shui Practitioner, with Roseline Deleu.

I met Roseline in February 2008 and since May of that special year I wished to follow her course. So it was long overdue. Finally we decided to go ahead.

clo-wardrobeRoseline came and we “Feng Shui-ed” my place as this is part of the teaching (big enjoyable bonus!!!). Yes – We moved furniture around. Yes – We de-cluttered draws, wardrobe and book shelves. This is the active part of the Feng Shui. However, we went much deeper into the reality of this art of placement!

Roseline often spoke and taught about the Nature elements, about the power of them working together in harmony… or not working in harmony   😦
She had me thinking and observing Nature and its amazing work.

Roseline asked off me repeatedly to reflect on: “what does one element to the other”.
– What happens if there is too much of one element when supposed to work along with another? (e.g. wood with water)
– What happens if there is too little of an element or a missing element? (e.g. wood with water)
Yes – Feng Shui is much more than just de-cluttering and moving furniture. In fact; de-cluttering and moving furniture is THE RESULT of Feng Shui understanding and practice.

When finally understanding what clutter and placement does to the energy around you, what clutter and placement does to your own energy; you want/need to de-clutter.

Much is said and written about what ingesting good or bad food does to your body and mind, much also is said about getting rid of people with low energy to keep up yours.
Little these days is said on what the environment YOU CREATE around you is doing to your mind, soul and body.
Yet this is something you alone can change for yourself; and this is Feng Shui, this positive movement and environment that you create is Feng Shui.

I will go to more into details in a few other articles to come; right now I only want to share with you a few of the first results of this amazing 5 day course:
-My place looks great and it feels really good to be here and so do I
-My wardrobe is looking colourful and quite attractive (see picture)
-I was stressed, yet, after the day 3, I could wake up in the morning around 3 or 4 am and fall asleep again easily (I stress very much at the end of a work contract hoping all of my students are able to finalise their course and get a job, I usually then wake up early and can’t find my sleep again)
-I shed 3 kg (still a lot to let go off )
-I am serene and happy again
-None-the-less, we had so much laughter and beautiful experiences

If this article comes up on Roseline’s Blog it means that I have understood what Roseline is teaching and I am sooooooo grateful to have met her and finally taken and completed her five day course.
I will even say: I wish I had done it sooner! So, if you are thinking of doing it, my advice to you is: Go, Do, Have fun and create for yourself a much easier life.

My Equi-Life Coaching Experience

DSC_5563I often experience different techniques especially when I come across interesting and genuine people – Frank Dejoncheere, director of Equi-Life Coaching is one of them!

When Frank enthusiastically shared with me the great results he gets with coaching people through interactions with horses (Equi-coaching), I was interested and booked a session.

Ostriches in GrimbergenArriving at its outdoors location in Grimbergen (Belgium), he walked with me and I discovered: 3 horses each in their paddock, a few ostriches and several white emus safely guarded. I couldn’t help myself to pick up their beautiful feathers on the ground. I thought I could offer them when I go next to Papua New Guinea for their ceremonial outfits.

The horse in the first paddock called me. Frank smiled, he reckons it is the horse with the biggest ego and the hardest to deal with. We walked into his paddock. I discussed with Frank about a little health challenge I am ready to solve that appeared due to unspoken words. On a physical level, this trauma located itself under my chin and sometimes looks like a double chin that interestingly appears on and off depending on my moods, how much water I drink – I am currently monitoring how and when it changes. I decided to energetically place this issue onto the horse to see how I could change this trauma into joy. Here is what happened…

The horse shows you something with his behaviour… he was eating. I cracked out laughing, I had put on a few extra kilos lately and me too, like the horse, seem to be (too) often eating.

When the horse leaves, so does the trauma. Interestingly, the 2 other horses in the other paddocks were in sync and all 3 left at the same time. Interesting. This was the sign for me TO BE and LET GO rather than express what I WANT! I still had to now welcome the transformation that turned into JOY

We were still standing in the paddock with no horse in sight, we then started talking about the colours of my scarf and the gold colours that I was wearing in hat and scarf. I explained what gold meant for me and soon got the strong realisation that my body seeked Gold oligo elements under my tongue. I was in the moment, I was connecting with me, I was living the TO BE.

Wild horses in the Centre of Australia

Wild horses in the Center of Australia – photo Roseline Deleu

When Frank asked me what I saw right there standing in the paddock, I saw fences, limitations… because horses where I usually am in the Centre of Australia are wild horses running free in the large desert areas. I got excited talking about freedom, talked and connected with the elements of Nature and felt my aura changing. Frank stopped me kindly as I was talking about rocks (the Metal element)… my whole body became huge and he wanted to warn me, he had never seen nor experiences such a sight before. When I talked about plants (the Wood element)… my whole body expanded around me and Frank had to take a step back. Tuning into Earth, my body shrank and I felt and looked as little as a dwarf. What I felt was that my body was suddenly wearing clothes that had shrunk in the dryer. I could feel it in my cells too it is an fantastic experience!

We turned to the other side of the paddock and realised that all 3 horses were all out of sight. My trauma was leaving or had left! Now… time to welcome Joy when the horse would come back to me.

Roseline Deleu connecting with horse

Horse named “Terrific” connecting with Roseline Deleu in Grimbergen

A plane was flying above our heads and we noticed a large bird circling a few hundred metres from us. We watched it and as we talked we started walking to the right, the bird changed direction and flew to the right too. We were talking about freedom and being in the flow. We were in the NOW.

We turned again and saw the horse walking towards us. Trauma had transformed, Joy was coming!

Purple cloverAs we walked towards the animal, we stopped at the same moment and looked down in the grass, only to notice half a dozen of little purple coloured clovers lost among the grass. I kneed down and picked up a 2 leave clover. I smiled and said after all the usual good luck for the green ones are 4 leaves, these purple ones must be 2 leaves only, they are different – so are our beliefs in life.

Many signs and lessons appeared for me during this Equi-life Coaching session. One song came into my head as I looked at the clovers: “From little things big things grow” (Paul Kelly, Singer) which is a well known song in Australia relating to Vincent Lingari and aboriginal history of Gurindji people when they went on an 8 year strike to recup their land from the colonialists. All is about the Land, respecting the Land. Here I was, back in Belgium, on the land where I was born, making the connexion with my 18 years of Australian wisdom. Please follow the links at the end of this post.

The horse looked smaller at the end of my session, my emotional baggage had left!

When I connected with the nature elements, my double chin had left.
I was in the Tao, in the NOW, in the flow of life, I was free, I was ONE.

An Equi-life coaching session is not about the horse it is about you. So for those of you who are a little afraid of horses, I haven’t even touched the horse! We simply connected. We were ONE.

I encourage you to book your session with Frank www.coachmij.be sessions are in English, Flemish or French.

When you connect with the Elements (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Air), nature sends you some messages through symbols. Only you can decipher its meaning. When you start noticing those shapes, forms, symbols around you, ask permission to mother nature to take a picture so you will be able to remember those special moments.

Yesterday, I was walking Standley’s Chasm in Central Australia 50 kms out of Alice Springs, NT and I noticed the turtle in this rock…

Avoid pointy rocks

create a feng shui entry, create a welcome entrance, excess of Metal element in feng shui, Excess of stones, feng, feng shui, feng shui master, International Feng Shui, light plants, pebbles, rocks, roseline deleu, shui, welcome entry, what to avoid in the entrance

In Feng Shui (Wind & Water) a welcome entry is essential!

AVOID pointy rocks and angular pebbles leading to your entrance, they are  inhospitable (see photo below).
SUGGESTIONS – In this illustration, the entry needs the elements of WATER (Shui) that could for ex. be added with a fountain AND we also need a MOVEMENT (Feng) that Mondo grass or lovely light plants with round leaves floating in the wind. Those small light plants will be plants instead or amongst the existing pebbles next to the rectangular paves.

avoid pointy rocks in entry

Excess of pointy rocks in this entrance gives a subliminal inhospitable message to visitors and potential opportunities. Luck is turned away. Adding a few little changes will make a huge difference.

Lack of Feng Shui in Shop layout – Real Example

BOSE sound system, feng shui Brisbane, feng shui canberra, feng shui shop layout, goof feng shui for shop, red wall, water feng shui

During my latest week training new Feng Shui Practitioners in Canberra, as part of the Course, we went to a Shopping Centre to have a closer look at some of the Feng Shui of shop layouts.

Feng Shui Steps Ba Gua in colourI thought I’d share with you an easy example of what could be improved in the BOSE shop where – even though I love their great Sound Systems – this shop always seems very empty. What can be improved from my Feng Shui point of view?

When placing the magic square onto the surface of the shop, we must check :
1) the placement of furniture and items
2) how the 5 elements theory has been implemented

What is really great is the wavy shape of glass hanging from the ceiling that starts in sector ‘1’. Good Feng Shui indeed asks to have Water near the entry. Well done.

Lack of Feng Shui in BOSE Shop s

This photo shows only 2/3 of the shop, there is 1/3 of it on the left too. –

As illustrated in the picture, we can see 3 major problems that can easily be fixed:
1) In sector ‘2’ Relationship, the red seat is turning its back to the potential clients -> this is not welcoming at all – the seat can be turned facing people coming in – which means with the back of the seat to the white back wall.

2) the fountain on the right hand side is out of order -> no movement – please fix it in order to have a flow and activating sector ‘6’ corresponding to clients. The little musical mice near the fountain are too low (on the floor) this asks people to look down (which is a lack of self confidence and therefore how could they decide to buy such beautiful items… do they deserve them?). These mice don’t really have their place in such a shop, so it would be better to have none.

3) the white back wall is hosting an inside theater. Too much ‘water’ in the Fame (Sector 9) with the glass door. Good Feng Shui would be to paint that wall in RED colour to activate the element of Fire that needs its presence in that sector.

Roseline Deleu Feng Shui BrisbaneLook at life with Feng Shui eyes and enjoy!
Kindest regards,

Apply Yin & Yang Symbol onto the Magic Square of your Life today

evolving following the yin and yang symbol, feng shui master, Feng Shui Master Roseline Deleu, life is movement, movement in life, nothing remains the same, ups and downs

Yin & Yang is movement, is change, is evolution.
Very seldom the 9 sectors of our life (corresponding to the Magic Square) are all perfectly well balanced.

Today, place the Yin & Yang symbol onto your life and see what is quiet (Yin = dark)  what is active (Yang = white)!

yin yang symbol applied to magic squareFor example – I am about to go to Europe, solve family matters (at this stage) and hopefully also start new projects. As reflected in the picture above, the emphasis (Yang) of my life is heading in sector ‘3’ mainly about family and past need to be solved during this trip (to start with).
Yin is covering sectors 4 & 9… while traveling, I’ll be spending money and investing my time and will be working on my self confidence and well-being (probably will be challenged by what will be happening in sector 3).
On the other hand, in sector ‘2’ the white dot/eye is present, something Yang could well happen there!

In a few weeks all will be very different. In your life too!

Roseline Deleu SydneyAsk yourself where are you up to in your life today and embrace the movement 🙂

The 5 transformations or the 5 Elements Theory – Creative Cycle

05 Wednesday Jun 2013

Posted by Roseline Deleu Feng Shui Master in Feng Shui Decor, the 5 Elements Theory

constructive cycle, examples of wood element, feng shui master, roseline deleu, the 5 transformations, water element, wood element

Along with the Yin and the Yang, the five elements are an additional way of analysing and harmonising the Chi. Chi can therefore be divided into: wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

These properties and essences characterise all matter. They can be associated with colours, seasons, shapes, directions, planets, textures, body organs and so on…

Creative cycle

  • Fire produces Earth (ash)
  • Earth creates Metal (minerals)
  • Metal produces Water (although water rusts metal, water droplets also form on the outside of a metal cup when holding cold liquid)
  • Water provides for Wood
  • Wood feeds Fire.

creative cycleFig. 1 – Creative cycle

Water feeds WoodFig 2 – Illustrating “Water feeds Wood”

Here we see the colour scheme of “Water feeds Wood”, dark blue for the Water element… Green and Light Blue for the Wood as well as the colour of this paper bark tree trunk, which means that paper, papyrus are also considered as the Wood element in your decor (textures).

A picture like this could decorate your home except in following cases:
NEVER put this sort of picture with Water:
– behind your back where you study or where you work
– in your sector # 2 (relationship)
– in your master bedroom (marriage)
BECAUSE in those cases, Water creates a lack of stability behind your back, lack of stability in your Relationship & Marriage.
