3 leggered frog“Dear Roseline, I have a question about my 3-leg toad… I am not sure where to place it, it’s challenging because I really like it!
My front door is West with the bathroom door facing it nearly across. My financial situation is unsustainable.
I need you! Thank you – Jane”

Dear Jane,

Thank you for your question, here are a few explanations easy to follow…

In Chinese Feng Shui, the 3-leg toad or frog is usually recommended to attract money. Many rules can be applied for a correct placement, so let’s look at those that would suit you – and many other readers too -:

  1. Place the 3-leg toad:
    either
    – near your front door, then the toad must be looking to the inside of the home (symbolising money entering)
    or
    – in your sector ‘4’ (Abundance), the toad will then be placed in a way that it will be looking at you when you enter that room
  2. In any case, avoid that your toad looks at the toilet/bathroom – then the money would only go ‘down the drains’
  3. Dust it off regularly and why not… talk to it!

For you Jane, I would thus recommend to move your toad to another spot and within the next 9 days you should start to feel a change in your finances.
Looking forward to reading your updated news 🙂

Roseline Deleu  Feng Shui Steps interviews Martyne of Dear Delicious www.deardelicious.com.au

  1. Please Martyne, tell our readers briefly WHEN, HOW, WHERE or in WHICH circumstances we met?
I met Roseline first around 2005 when I started my Feng Shui Journey… It was obvious from the first second that we have a deep connection and since our bond is a very important one for our family and life…. Roseline is always there to remind us when we get overwhelmed by our daily chores that this amazing art of placement (Feng Shui) is at our hands and we are very grateful for it.

Roseline Martyne and Robijn

  1. Since then, could you share what is the most interesting Feng Shui result that you have experienced?
It is always a treat to realise after a de-cluttering how the energies shift, however the most powerful one was at the beginning of 2014, when my husband and I need direction. Roseline guided us through the 9 cycle of life to face and let go the past and instead investing our energies into cleansing, creating and allowing for all those yearnings to manifest. Within only 2 weeks we signed a huge contract, we moved house and I fell pregnant with our Son!
  1. Let’s talk more about “Dear Delicious“… Tell us a little about yourself and your business.
great meal at Dear DeliciousInterestingly both of our upbringing was spiced with an understanding of hospitality and a huge part of it was understanding the industry. Since 2004 when I met my husband, we were always involved in exciting food projects, we are a great fit; he loves to do, I love to innovate, so most of the time is always something new is on the way!
However a 7-days shop can take it’s toll, and probably for this particular reason we realised in 2012 that we must take a break. Basically the idea of Dear Delicious was born during that time when we lived in the country. When the opportunity came we were extremely excited to share our farming experience combined with amazing produce; we like to say honest food with a flare. After a year and a bit of trade we are absolutely thankful for the universe for this opportunity.
  1. What are the five words that people would use to describe Dear Delicious?
organic garden – delicious food:-) – homely yet hip feel – excellent coffee – family business
    Dear Delicious organic garden
  2. What was the purpose on starting your Dear Delicious business?
To introduce Sydney’s crowded Inner West to something refreshing and real without the attitude… in this buzzing and crazy industry is very important to create a unique space, especially our large sustainable garden is something very unique and we are very happy to share!
  1. What are the most common reasons of people who come and see you?
I like to think is our care for good food and Dear Delicious’ ambiance makes us a real local corner 🙂
    Dear Delicious web
  2. Tell us more about your services that you provide to your clients?
We are open 7 days and daylight saving open from Monday-Friday for early casual family dinners as well – the locals love it…we also getting busier and busier with our functions, we had christening parties, birthdays, bridal brunches, baby showers….it is very exciting to share and create an amazing venue for our guests to celebrate.
  1. Tell us about your process for working with clients?
Most of our regulars we see on the daily basis they are part of our family….is nothing more rewarding then starting the day on a positive note and serving them something delicious!
Watch here our little video clip
  1. What advice can you offer to people who are just discovering Dear Delicious?
I am sure everybody is able to find something on the menu they can enjoy, we cater to vegans, vegetarians, celiac people as well we offer a lots of paleo and dairy free options. I would recommend to sit in the garden and just enjoy the precious moment with family, friends or your fury child (or by yourself!)

How can I attract more Friends and more Clients?

2014 feng shui best feng shui master, beads, contacting deceased, de-clutter, declutter, feng shui consultations, feng shui cure, feng shui reading, increase clients, marbels, material possessions, reconnect with friends, roseline deleu, to be or to have

Yes, indeed, that’s a good question! The Feng Shui art of placement can give you a few suggestions 🙂

Apply the Magic Square grid onto your premises and find out where the area corresponding to ‘Friends’ is located. This sector number 6 is usually either on the right hand side of your building in which case you enter into it – or – it is on the right hand side of your main entrance. It can be a room, part of a room or part of a couple of rooms. Just draw the lines onto your home plans without worrying about the walls.

Magic square in colourThis sector ‘6’ is the part of your home that relates to the element of Metal. Which means that for your decor, I would encourage you to choose touches of either grey, silver, gold, copper, or glitter in that room.

Further meaning for this ‘6’ sector is: Friends, Helpers, Clients, Connections, Travels and Movement. Yes this area is indeed very Yang, very active!

To attract new clients, new friends, new connections place a symbol of quantities in that room or on one of its walls.

For example: in your sector ‘6’, display a nice bowl with colourful beads or marbles (= quantities) in which you put your hand daily and mix them with the intent of welcoming new people. Would you ignore or forget about that bowl, it then stays static sadly collecting dust – then it won’t do the job!

Another example: on one of the walls of your ‘6’ area, place a photo or a collage of people walking towards you and see how many people start calling, visiting or connecting with you! It happens fast, you won’t need 9 days to see them appear.

To reconnect with old friends, family or acquaintances (alive or deceased), place a photo of the person next to freshly cut white flowers (symbolising your pure intent) in your sector ‘6’ and you may well hear from them, see them, get an unexpected mail or a phone call within the next few days. Placing the white fresh flower with a peaceful intent is important, this is part of respect. Would you place it with a impure intent, it will have a boomerang effect on you and you don’t really want that!

Now, let’s look into the word ‘Helpers’. It could well have two different meanings: either you are the one helping or you are the one seeking help. In both cases, write your wishes carefully (to help or to being helped) on a nice piece of paper without naming any specific person – that is important! Place that wish list under a round faceted crystal and see what happens.

AltarYou will notice on this colourful Magic Square illustration that your sector ‘6’ includes the idea of ‘Movement’ and ‘Travels’. Movement is life, changes are encouraged – otherwise you feed stagnation and depression. Friends and acquaintances come and go in our lives. We all know the adage “We meet people for a reason, a season or a life time”.

Ready for your next move in life? Take a look at that room occupying sector ‘6’ and de-clutter, change touches of your decor, update photos, get rid of all what you don’t really like anymore.

For those who are ready to travel, display a photo of your favourite destination and you may well be on your way very soon.

Feng Shui helps you to manifest what you wish in life, special experiences, good moments. It is about creating positive emotions TO BE happy not so much TO HAVE money or material possessions. This art of placement is accessible to everyone. I do my best each month to give you some tips and ideas how you can work Feng Shui easily in your home.

I am always happy to read from you, post your comments and question under this post.

Please (Feng Shui) Help me sell my house!

I am very proud and happy to start sharing some of the stories of the Feng Shui Practitioners and Consultants who study with me. – Roseline Deleu –

Story from Carole Crumlin, one of Roseline Deleu’s Feng Shui trained and certified Practitioners in Cairns (FNQ) – Australia

“Karla (NSW) told me on the telephone that she had listed her investment property in one of the southern suburbs of Cairns with a Real Estate Agent. She had previously attempted to sell the property for several months with very little interest. She knew that something needed to happen.

She was very interested in Feng Shui and wanted to see if it would help her. Her goal was to sell the property and move on from a previous challenging situation.

I did the initial inspection 8th August 2015. The outside of her property was in good shape as where the surrounding properties in a very nice street. However, the inside of the house was a different matter. As I walked around the rooms I had trouble finding the “flow” in the house.

Walking from room to room I felt a kind of sadness about the property.

I started to notice small things that were contributing to this feeling. There were different styles and colours of curtains in each room. Several door knobs were missing. Broken light fittings, chipped paint on the architrave, badly scratched bathroom mirror. There was a lot of wear and tear on the inside of the house. Repairing and replacing those items would be the simplest way to remedy.

Clearing the space to get rid of the sad feeling was essential too.

I had brought some Essential Lemon oil mixed in a spray bottle with me and I immediately carefully sprayed inside the home to help clear some of the negative energy.   (Essential Lemon oil mix is made from the peel of the lemon and not the fruit as the peel contains the most nutrient).

Broken light fittings BEFORE change –

After a quick chat and report to Karla, she agreed to the repairs and to purchase new curtains. We set a very realistic budget for neutral colour curtains. Feng Shui remedies need not be very expensive.

A week later 11th August 2015, I was delighted to take down all the curtains and straightaway there was a big shift in the energy in the house. I proceeded to replace and hang the new curtains. There was now a flow in the lounge room and into the dining room. The bedroom curtains also neutral were now the same style and would allow for easy future decoration. All the repairs had been completed too. Walking around the inside of the house was so different from my first time. The energy in the house felt lighter.

It wasn’t long after that that Karla listed the property with a Real Estate Agent who specialized in property in the southern suburbs and I am happy to report that the property was sold and finalized 1st October 2015.”

This story reveals that Karla saved lots of money using the Feng Shui services of Carole. Not only Karla didn’t have to travel from NSW to Far North QLD to deal with the situation, she also trusted delegating the work and situation to Carole.
The results were fast indeed and finalised in less than 2 months!
Congratulations Carole! Well done 🙂 – Roseline

Q&A – Portraits & Family Photos

2013 best feng shui master of the year, decor for your entry, family photos, feng shui consultation, Feng Shui Master Roseline Deleu, feng shui tips in books, photos and feng shui, photos in your decor, portraits

” – Firstly, I’d like to thank you for your monthly predictions and all the precious time you are putting into posts that you publish for all of us!
I have just read in one of my old Feng Shui books not to put portraits facing front door. Here, we have a family portrait in front of our door location and it feels so right to have it there. Our family is happy.
I’d love to hear your views on this. Best wishes – B.Y. -“

Photo de familleThank you for your email and your question B.Y.! I always welcome emails with queries as they become a post and explanations for others.

There are many books and sometimes authors will have experienced some situations that they illustrate as examples in their book.

As a rule of thumb, many people have family photos in their entry, sometimes on the entry table in the foyer. This is usually welcoming.
Family PortraitsSeldom people would have just one portrait staring at visitors when they enter, that could be what the author of your book might have meant.

I’m not sure which arguments the author puts in his book in regards to other family photos facing the door, maybe in some cases, the family could then be too exposed.

You are telling me that your family photo feels right to have displayed facing your door, that’s good.

Keep in mind that most of the books give broad guidance and this is not replacing a Feng Shui consultation. I know that you work very intuitively, so, would you feel that your family is too exposed then you know what to do.

Hope this helps. Kind regards,

Roseline Deleu
