Yes, indeed, that’s a good question! The Feng Shui art of placement can give you a few suggestions 🙂

Apply the Magic Square grid onto your premises and find out where the area corresponding to ‘Friends’ is located. This sector number 6 is usually either on the right hand side of your building in which case you enter into it – or – it is on the right hand side of your main entrance. It can be a room, part of a room or part of a couple of rooms. Just draw the lines onto your home plans without worrying about the walls.

Magic square in colourThis sector ‘6’ is the part of your home that relates to the element of Metal. Which means that for your decor, I would encourage you to choose touches of either grey, silver, gold, copper, or glitter in that room.

Further meaning for this ‘6’ sector is: Friends, Helpers, Clients, Connections, Travels and Movement. Yes this area is indeed very Yang, very active!

To attract new clients, new friends, new connections place a symbol of quantities in that room or on one of its walls.

For example: in your sector ‘6’, display a nice bowl with colourful beads or marbles (= quantities) in which you put your hand daily and mix them with the intent of welcoming new people. Would you ignore or forget about that bowl, it then stays static sadly collecting dust – then it won’t do the job!

Another example: on one of the walls of your ‘6’ area, place a photo or a collage of people walking towards you and see how many people start calling, visiting or connecting with you! It happens fast, you won’t need 9 days to see them appear.

To reconnect with old friends, family or acquaintances (alive or deceased), place a photo of the person next to freshly cut white flowers (symbolising your pure intent) in your sector ‘6’ and you may well hear from them, see them, get an unexpected mail or a phone call within the next few days. Placing the white fresh flower with a peaceful intent is important, this is part of respect. Would you place it with a impure intent, it will have a boomerang effect on you and you don’t really want that!

Now, let’s look into the word ‘Helpers’. It could well have two different meanings: either you are the one helping or you are the one seeking help. In both cases, write your wishes carefully (to help or to being helped) on a nice piece of paper without naming any specific person – that is important! Place that wish list under a round faceted crystal and see what happens.

AltarYou will notice on this colourful Magic Square illustration that your sector ‘6’ includes the idea of ‘Movement’ and ‘Travels’. Movement is life, changes are encouraged – otherwise you feed stagnation and depression. Friends and acquaintances come and go in our lives. We all know the adage “We meet people for a reason, a season or a life time”.

Ready for your next move in life? Take a look at that room occupying sector ‘6’ and de-clutter, change touches of your decor, update photos, get rid of all what you don’t really like anymore.

For those who are ready to travel, display a photo of your favourite destination and you may well be on your way very soon.

Feng Shui helps you to manifest what you wish in life, special experiences, good moments. It is about creating positive emotions TO BE happy not so much TO HAVE money or material possessions. This art of placement is accessible to everyone. I do my best each month to give you some tips and ideas how you can work Feng Shui easily in your home.

I am always happy to read from you, post your comments and question under this post.

These days, Feng Shui became a ‘trend’, a ‘fashion’. Let’s take a look to understand how Feng Shui all started…
Like in all countries worldwide, many centuries ago, ancient Chinese were well aware of Feng (Wind) Shui (Water). They built their huts safely away from the various natural dangers and potential disasters. Tucked away from the wind, their homes were warmer; located near a water stream for their daily use but not too close to the river as the heavy rains would wash away their homes in no time.

Lately, worldwide and more specifically in Australia, we went through many weather challenges. Floods in Queensland, fires in Western Australia and Yasi, the category 5 cyclone in the Tropical North.

When I wrote this article, the 8.9 earthquake hit Japan and Tsunami waves were raging.

What does Mother Nature tell us?

The message is simple: use your common sense first!

  • Avoid buying a block of land or a home located in the flood areas – these days it is easy to check this updated information through Google search.
  • Clear regularly the dead wood around your garden – in case of fire they would only contribute to bigger flames.
  • Have a closer look at your belongings – do you really need all that you “have”?

If you only had 20 minutes to quit your place and save your life, what would you take with you?

Look around your home and think of minimising or de-cluttering your material possessions to those that you just NEED and ENJOY. After all, in life, what matters are the emotions!
Material possessions are only important for the joy they give us.

Who are you? Human or Humanoid?

Today, I’d like to share an interesting “Access Consciousness” concept to encourage you to look differently into your material possessions and the importance of Feng Shui philosophy of life.

We have 2 majorly different perspectives and ways of creating on Planet Earth: the HUMANOID perspective: is that FORCE is the source of creation. The HUMAN perspective is to think you have to WORK HARD and sweat in order to create things.

HUMANOIDS recognise their oneness with the universe and they don’t pit themselves against it.

HUMANS live in judgment of everybody else and think that life is just the way it is… and nothing is ever right, so don’t bother to think about another possibility.

HUMANOIDS, on the other hand, look for ways to make things better. When you invent things, when you are always looking for a better, bigger way of creating something, you are a HUMANOID.
HUMANOIDS are the people who create change. They create the inventions, the music and the poetry. They create all the things that come out of a lack of satisfaction with the status quo.
Nearly 50 % of the population is HUMANOID and they are the creators of everything that changes in this reality. A bit more than the other 50% is HUMAN.

HUMANS hold onto things the way they are and never want to change. Have you ever been to somebody’s house where they have not changed the furniture in 30 years? Human!

One of the big differences between humans and humanoids is that HUMANOIDS tend to judge themselves, and HUMANS judge others.
You may, as a HUMANOID, occasionally judge others, usually you only do what when  making yourself more like HUMANS. Judging others is hard work for you.
Most HUMANOIDS find it impossible. When they hear a judgement of someone they say “That would be important based on what?” … So and so did that? Well, maybe under certain circumstances so would I”.
A HUMAN, on the other hand  will say with great certainty “No, I would never do that”.

Instead of sitting in judgement of others, HUMANOIDS tend to sit in judgement of themselves. They find fault with themselves. They figure out how to make themselves better. A HUMAN does not do this.
A HUMAN will tell you what is wrong with YOU and how if you just did things differently or would be ok. “If you’d just stop doing all those weird things you do”… they say “You’d just be fine”. And why would you want anything better that what you have got, anyways because this is all there is?” That is pretty much their defining point of view. This is not for HUMANOIDS. HUMANOIDS recognise their oneness with their bodies and the world around them. They are willing to be in communion with their bodies, and as a result, the possibilities of embodiment show up for them.

HUMANS feel they need material possessions while HUMANOIDS enjoy their surroundings and evolve more freely. So… who do you choose to be? Look at your life and your interiors with new eyes today and follow the HUMANOID trend when you are ready!
