Whenever you feel threatened in life, especially since you realised that it has been happening ever since you moved into that new home… It may be a good idea to check how and where your home is located!

In Chinese Feng Shui what is called a “Poison arrow” could well be what is making you uncomfortable. That “poison arrow” comes in many different ways, for example: a tall tree or line of trees right in line with your front door, a “T” junction of streets, protruding corner, a hospital or a cemetery  across the street and many other Sha Chi (rapid or negative Chi) that is coming towards you!

Large Ba Gua in a Garden

In Chinese Feng Shui, people use a Ba Gua, an octagonal protection decorated by I Ching lines and often with a mirror in the middle. This Ba Gua is said to deflect negative energy and protects your home. It is important that the Ba Gua remains outdoors. So its best placement is often above the front door, on the fly screen above your head height or above a window if there is a poison arrow aiming at it.

I recently took a few photos to illustrate what Ba Gua may look like. And for those of you who can’t find one in their local shop… make your own, it is often very powerful because you add your strong intent of protection into yours.

Whichever protection you will choose, depending on your culture, they all seem to be working amazingly!

A bit of humour with Feng Shui makes it easier to get!  😀

This example shows a bedroom layout in which you’d really be challenged to meet the right man. Yes, this room would belong to a spinster or a single woman with problems – or eventually a master bedroom of a couple where the poor husband would not have much to say in the relationship. Let’s have a look at the hints here:

  1. The bed is centered in the middle of the wall, which is usually ‘good feng shui’ – yes, but… it doesn’t seemed balanced as on one side you have a window partially covered by the pillows and on the other side two frames – none of this layout would bring equilibrium into a couple.
  2. Bed side tables and lamps are similar on both sides, which is usually ‘good feng shui’ – yes but… one of the light bulb is broken – so, no light, no energy is attracted on that side of the bed!
  3. Pink is beautiful and symbolises Love – yes, but… when the decor of your room is excessively feminine or too girly, it is recommended to add a touch of ‘male’ or ‘adult’ decor/colours/touch in there.
  4. The window cools down that side of the bed(head), while we really would like to manifest a warm and loving relationship!

Thus, we changed the bed and placed it on the other wall, where there is no window. We put a new light bulb in the lamp and changed the photos of the two little frames. One of the bedside tables (male side) is now empty and you are symbolically now ready to welcome a man into your life – not specifically straight away in your bed… one step at the time!  😉

Would you have one of those ‘Stay-out-Man-Bedroom’ and you are keen to meeting someone nice?… Send me a photo by email and I’ll answer with some suggestions in one of the upcoming blog posts.

Leaving your emotional Baggage

I often see homes surrounded by high fences trough which one can’t see any view. I also have met people who never open their curtains and keep their homes constantly semi-dark or even very dark inside.

Those are of course subliminally working on the inhabitants moods!

If you have no other choice of having those fences blocking your view, please surround yourself inside your home with large photos/frames/art representing landscapes with open views.

Paradise island

If you want to keep your home – or even often only just one room – in the dark, ask yourself why you keep in the excess Yin (Passivity). Missing light – which represents Life – is lacking Joy. While it can be good to sleep and relax a few days in such an environment, constantly living in a dark place could easily lead you to depression, lack of interest in life, serious struggles with studies and sadly hiding away from… realizing that actually, you incarnated in this body in this life time to enjoy what life has to offer for the highest good of all 🙂
Time to change those broken light bulbs, open the curtains and refresh the air while letting the light in.

For those with photos of bags, suitcases, fences or barriers in their decor, ask yourself if you are ready to leave your emotional baggage behind and jump the fence!?

Barriers could well only exist in your imagination.
Have you ever consider that fear and doubts were ever only created by your own thoughts?
How about you leave your baggage on the other side of the fence, climb it and see what life has to offer on the other side! 🙂

Life is a great adventure and is worth living.
