Oct 2019

In the current October weeks, you finally start understanding how to respect yourself… I mean how to respect your mind, your body and your soul! It is only when you respect every aspect of yourself that you can respect others, not the other way around.

Every Body is a beautiful body
Every Mind seeks positivity, happiness and enthusiasm
Every Soul longs for Love because that is all what matters!

Take DAILY opportunities to respect your Body, Mind and Soul and action it with

Body – look at your body and give yourself a compliment
Mind – look at the bright side of your day
Soul – we are emotions, focus on the good emotions and joys that came to your awareness today.

Here is a little ritual for the month: 3 little steps for wonderful days.

RITUAL:

as you go to bed, summarise each of the 3 steps you took today for respecting and honouring :
– your Body
– your Mind and
– your Spirit

and you’ll enjoy a good night sleep.

Enjoy this month to the fullest ❤

7 Day Feng Shui Challenge – Day 7

With the full moon tomorrow, it is really good that you have started all those 6 days of change. Indeed, now is the perfect timing to get rid of all habits and leave place for new ones.  🙂

Day 7 – Considering Photos

Many of you may still be working on cleaning out their in-boxes (emails, FB, FB posts, messages in their phones, etc.) and could find challenging the mission that comes up today with Day 7.

a) A few days ago, Day 2, you cleared your inboxes… The question is “How much NEW messages, posts and emails have you kept since then?” Have you started this automatic in-boxes clean-up daily, or automatically when it’s been dealt with – or have you kept the old habit of keeping everything?

b) Today is another titan mission: your digital photos!
You are aware that your photos take a huge amount of space on your computer HDD and on your phones. “How often do you look at ALL those photos?” (never – once only – once a year)… How many times do you refer to some of those photos? (sometimes to a few times in my lifetime – a few times per year – a few times per decade, …?)
Many people these days can take 5 shots of the same place and forget to only keep the favourite 1 and delete the other 4 that don’t look very good.

The excess of photos are clogging up your storage space…
How much is the same clogging happening in your head with all the excess of information causing you stress?

The photos of your holidays are only important to you and the people who were there. Ask yourself, how many photos do you really want to keep?

DSC_1740 doc

This photo has no real meaning for you as you probably haven’t been there. It’s a pond with coins in the superb Chiang Rai white temple! I am offering it to you and you may print it and use it as Feng Shui cure for your Abundance area (sector 4).

Suggestion – Each year, I prepare a little slide show with the photos of that year and the song that reminds me of those good times. I thus limit my number of photos per year to 50 approx. meaning 3 to 5 seconds for a 4 minutes song.

That doesn’t seem much at all does it!? Well this is all what I personally need to keep from my life for per year, the rest you can either put on a separate storage HDD after having eliminated the excess of ‘not good shots’ – or simply delete.

Scary isn’t it!?

I kept this digital photos clean up for Day 7 as this may well take you some time to achieve this task.

DAY 4 – Shoes & Underwears

Interesting day again today…

Shoes
I’m sure that all of us have shoes we don’t wear anymore, those too tight, too old, wrong size, those that we bought and never wore… and never will wear 😀  all those shoes that have no real good reason to be in our shoe cupboards! NO more excuses, today, you give them away!
Shoes are the symbol of going forward in life ❤

Underwear
Elastics that don’t hold anything anymore, worn out undies, too small ones… you name it! I’m sure you have got some 🙂
Our underwear are our next skin, so our body deserves to be comfortable with nice underwear with nice colours that will make us feel good.
No more reason that those unwearable underwear overload your draws! Today, they leave your home!

You may now deserve to buy ONE new item (if you really need it!)

Congratulations to all of you who have managed to eliminate as much as possible from all your Inboxes during Day 2! 🙂

DAY 3 – Take care of your Entry Doorentry door

Today, we stay away from the computer, we move! We go outside and have a good look at all the details of our entry door. We dust it, clean its windows, repair what may not be working, put healthy plants in nice (unbroken) pots – or anything else that you fancy doing with that front door.

Moreover…
1. Make sure your doorbell is in working order
2. Your door mat is welcoming visitors in front of the door
3. Your house number is clearly indicated

A Day 3 much more relaxing than yesterday… which may allow some of you to finish clearing those inboxes that were not done yesterday.

Now that your mailbox is shining and probably the cleanest one of your whole street, it is time to pass onto Challenge Day 2.

DAY 2 – Clean your Emails/Facebook and other multi media INBOXES

I kept this one for a Saturday because this may take ‘a while’.

Sorry to say, these days we also have another Mailbox… your INBOX(es) of your emails, your Facebook etc.

Yes, sorting the INBOXes of your email addresses, Facebook page(s) and other electronic accounts that you may have anywhere else online would be a lot of work for some of you!
Sit for an hour… or a few hours… sort emails/messages by categories or you may envisage to delete them when you are sure that you won’t need them anymore!

Do you still need to keep track of those old posts and old conversations on Facebook – are they important or can they be tossed!?

How long did it take you? How do you feel after this?

7 day Feng Shui challenge, change life, easy, feng shui, feng shui steps, foyer mailbox, good news, mailbox outside, note on your mailbox, roseline deleu, tips

mailbox beforeMany of us would like a life change or simply are wanting to receive good news… you know, something that happens and that makes us feel ‘good’.

Today is the 1st day of my Feng Shui Challenge with you.

DAY 1 – Clean your Mailbox at HOME

At HOME
Our mailbox outside our home or in the entry foyer of our building is the symbol of receiving news. I looked at like mine this morning, a bird had left his ‘track’, the dust was outside the mailbox and inside too!  😦  “Oops”– I thought – “How can I get something good happening in my life when my mailbox doesn’t look very welcoming at all!”mailbox after

So, I cleaned it, dusted it and added a note so I won’t get any junk mail anymore – I was meant to do this for a long time! ( Yes, I am normal  😀 )
It already does look and feel much better! Now, time to buy some shining product from the shop and make that number 42 shine.

Looking forward to hearing from you and seeing your before and after photos in reply to this post.

Feng Shui & Mirrors

Mirrors are too often consider as the Feng Shui ‘aspirin’. When something doesn’t see to go as we want… we place a mirror! Aouch! Aouch ! Aouch 😦 this could be far from ideal!!!

DSC_1079

Here a FEW suggestions (many more suggestions exist of course, these ones will get you started)

GOOD placement:

  1. YES: in a dark spot where light (in the mirror) can be reflected and thus will lighten the room
  2. YES: on the wall where your grid has a missing area
  3. YES: when it reflects something nice for ex. a fresh bunch of flowers

WRONG placement:

  1. NO: not in your main entry reflecting your door (Chi comes in and goes out immediately)
  2. NO: not reflecting stair cases (as illustrated in the photo above) – this would encourage too many UPs and DOWNs in life!
  3. NO: absolute NO when mirror reflects clutter and/or broken items

AVOID mirrors in bedrooms – so, if you can’t sleep, cover them at night and feel the difference for yourself.

House number 7

The apartment or house numbers ‘3’ , ‘8’ and ‘9’ have been posted recently and you can either click on blue highlighted links or scroll under this post. Today let’s have a look at the number ‘7’.

House numbers are believed to influence our lives at least to a certain extend.

house-7

Illustration of this article shows a house number  ’259’ which when we add  2+5+9 = 16 -> 1+6 = 7.
The 259 number also resonates with numbers 2, 5 and 9 that will be important to read in my previous and next posts.

Of course there is much more than a simple number to influence your life!

Seven is an interesting number in Feng Shui and symbolizes creativity, children, projects and ideas. Living in an ‘7’ house, to a several digits number adding to ‘7’ or a house number containing ‘7’ in the digits, has a positive influence on the creativity and fertility of its inhabitants.

Buying or living in a ‘7’ house could well be THE place where you (finally) become more creative, start new studies related with Art or Children. In a 7 house you look into new projects or even fall pregnant after having hesitated or waited many years!

For some of you, living in a ‘7’ house could well be where you finally are going to bring your projects into reality. You may have studied many avenues or followed lots of workshops and completed certificates over the past years – it is in a ‘7’ house that you will get that kick and make that step towards allowing you to put all this into practice.

Even though you may be living in the house with many members of your family – or – getting lots of visitors –  in the ‘7’ house you may feel sometimes alone or lonely. It is the perfect house to introspect – yes, your answer is within –  and thus grow and strengthen on a spiritual level.

All this and more can happen as long as your sector ‘7’ in your garden and inside your home – of course – carry the energies of the Metal element!

house-7

In the illustrated 259 house example, we can see a few chairs in the garden near the main house entrance. I usually recommend to use those chairs on a regular basis for meetings especially if they are in front of the house near where Chi enters (main entry). Unused chairs are stagnant likewise are chairs in front of an entry door where you sit on your own. They would slow the entering Chi and you may then find yourself struggling to change.

Reader feed back email on house number ‘7’

Dear Roseline,
I live in a seven house and yes I fell pregnant 5 times. My husband has been very creative in this house, cake decorating, airbrushing, chocolate and confectionary making. My youngest child is very creative and her craft spot is just inside the front door, if only she would keep this space neater! We also have a metal letterbox. Explains a lot! – C. R. Australia

House Number ‘8’

House numbers are believed to be influencing our lives. Illustrations of this article show a house number 35 which when we add 3+5 = 8.

Eight is a very auspicious number in Feng Shui and often 8 symbolizes infinity (->infinity of potential, infinity of possibilities etc.)
Thus, it looks like living in an ‘8’ house, to a several digits number adding to ‘8’ or a house number containing ‘8’ in the digits, has a positive influence on its inhabitants.

dsc_8266

Watch out though! If your front yard looks like in the two photos of this post, it will be very UN-likely that luck would come and know at your door! The two spikes above the roof peak, the spiky plants and the cacti will keep all the good things away from you.

To attract good luck, always be Feng Shui and common sense aware.

BEFORE – please note following Feng Shui challenges:
a) The shiny tiled Compass is hidden by a dull mat
-> lack of direction in life
b) The artificial (silk) flower arrangement is the first we see as soon as we open the door
-> what is it in the resident’s lives that is a bit too artificial?
c) The metal shelve hosts eclectic items and clothes
-> too many different items to start a good day with a clear mind   😦
d) A few dried (dead) flowers sadly collecting dust in a glass pot on the floor
-> nothing ‘dead’ in the entry please, we need ‘life’ in an entry so that Chi can carry it with its flow around the whole house! Also, avoid small items on the floor level, they are down, you look down sadly   😦
e) Shoes near the entry… preferably in a closed in cupboard in the garage because on an open shelve in your entry foyer they may emanate a subtle smell – and after I’m sure that  worn shoes are not your favourite decoration   😀

DSC_8520  DSC_8521

AFTER –  note the changes:
a) The shiny tiled compass is now happily shining with the sunlight and an outdoor mat is doing a great job.
b) The artificial flower arrangement is now at the back of the entry door so it is no more the first thing you see when you enter.
c) A second shelve is across the first one, they now both host precious and fun objects that are loved by the grand kids when they visit. They also put a smile and bring joy into the grand parents lives when they come home.

RESULTS –  After those easy changes, the occupants soon felt calmer and peaceful, better organised and their days were filled with more laughter and smiles. After all… Happiness is priceless isn’t it!  🙂
