Room with no Windows

room-without-a-window

In the past couple of weeks I encountered a few places where rooms had no windows and I must admit that this is very challenging for people either living or working in that space!

Always looking at a blank wall or a wall with a pin board full of invoices or ‘to do’ papers pined onto it usually not very rewarding nor inspiring.

How about hanging a beautiful poster of a landscape that would open your view – OR – create a fake window with a dream landscape in the background as illustrated in the photo?

The choice is yours!

Auspicious or Inauspicious 4 – 3 – 2 – 1?

Four
Double LuckFrom a Chinese point of view, the number ‘4’ is NOT auspicious because it writes the same than ‘death’.
On the other hand, from a Western point of view, a 4-leaf clove brings luck! and… on most of our keyboards above ‘4’ stands the ‘$’ dollar sign ->that is a much better way to look at it isn’t it.

Three
Interior Designers learn to decorate homes with 3 similar objects because it “looks symmetric and better”. We know that from a Feng Shui point of view, what you scan you project… so by seeing around you everything in ‘3’ you may well be welcoming something or someone else in your relationship!
Example of what COULD happen – you or your partner may have an affair (then another person is in the relationship) – you or your partner is workaholic (then the intruder is work) – you or your partner (or both) drink too much alcohol, here the trespasser destroying the relationship is alcohol.
More about ‘3’ in my next post… “When can we display 3?”

Two
coupleDecorating with pairs brings a couple closer.
When single, surrounding you by pairs will open your mind and prepare you to welcome a relationship.

One
Single chairs, sole bedside table in master bedrooms will see the bed occupied by a single person 😦
To attract a loving partner, add a chair and the second bedside table.

Maybe a good idea to check your decor today!

How can I attract more Friends and more Clients?

2014 feng shui best feng shui master, beads, contacting deceased, de-clutter, declutter, feng shui consultations, feng shui cure, feng shui reading, increase clients, marbels, material possessions, reconnect with friends, roseline deleu, to be or to have

Yes, indeed, that’s a good question! The Feng Shui art of placement can give you a few suggestions 🙂

Apply the Magic Square grid onto your premises and find out where the area corresponding to ‘Friends’ is located. This sector number 6 is usually either on the right hand side of your building in which case you enter into it – or – it is on the right hand side of your main entrance. It can be a room, part of a room or part of a couple of rooms. Just draw the lines onto your home plans without worrying about the walls.

Magic square in colourThis sector ‘6’ is the part of your home that relates to the element of Metal. Which means that for your decor, I would encourage you to choose touches of either grey, silver, gold, copper, or glitter in that room.

Further meaning for this ‘6’ sector is: Friends, Helpers, Clients, Connections, Travels and Movement. Yes this area is indeed very Yang, very active!

To attract new clients, new friends, new connections place a symbol of quantities in that room or on one of its walls.

For example: in your sector ‘6’, display a nice bowl with colourful beads or marbles (= quantities) in which you put your hand daily and mix them with the intent of welcoming new people. Would you ignore or forget about that bowl, it then stays static sadly collecting dust – then it won’t do the job!

Another example: on one of the walls of your ‘6’ area, place a photo or a collage of people walking towards you and see how many people start calling, visiting or connecting with you! It happens fast, you won’t need 9 days to see them appear.

To reconnect with old friends, family or acquaintances (alive or deceased), place a photo of the person next to freshly cut white flowers (symbolising your pure intent) in your sector ‘6’ and you may well hear from them, see them, get an unexpected mail or a phone call within the next few days. Placing the white fresh flower with a peaceful intent is important, this is part of respect. Would you place it with a impure intent, it will have a boomerang effect on you and you don’t really want that!

Now, let’s look into the word ‘Helpers’. It could well have two different meanings: either you are the one helping or you are the one seeking help. In both cases, write your wishes carefully (to help or to being helped) on a nice piece of paper without naming any specific person – that is important! Place that wish list under a round faceted crystal and see what happens.

AltarYou will notice on this colourful Magic Square illustration that your sector ‘6’ includes the idea of ‘Movement’ and ‘Travels’. Movement is life, changes are encouraged – otherwise you feed stagnation and depression. Friends and acquaintances come and go in our lives. We all know the adage “We meet people for a reason, a season or a life time”.

Ready for your next move in life? Take a look at that room occupying sector ‘6’ and de-clutter, change touches of your decor, update photos, get rid of all what you don’t really like anymore.

For those who are ready to travel, display a photo of your favourite destination and you may well be on your way very soon.

Feng Shui helps you to manifest what you wish in life, special experiences, good moments. It is about creating positive emotions TO BE happy not so much TO HAVE money or material possessions. This art of placement is accessible to everyone. I do my best each month to give you some tips and ideas how you can work Feng Shui easily in your home.

I am always happy to read from you, post your comments and question under this post.

Correct use of Mobiles from a Feng Shui Perspective

When your mobile is stuck, so is your life! Set it free and you will soon get opportunities on your life path.

When your mobile is stuck (as illustrated above) – so is your life! Set it free and you will soon welcome new opportunities. –

Mobiles show Wind power. They move Chi and shift energies of the place.

Adding to the element of Wind, the tubular mobiles symbolise also the Sound element; they become then a “double” enhancer.

All types of mobile objects, being they windmills, whirligigs, tassels, spirals, flags or mobiles need to be placed correctly – by this I mean freely! Free to flow with the wind, NOT stuck on a wall!

Check if your mobiles are doing their ‘job’ today, dust them off and change regularly their positioning.

peacock feathersIn Feng Shui, there are many different ways to symbolise Wind (Feng) and movement.
One of them in Chinese Feng Shui is to display peacock feathers. They are colourful, light and feathers usually help birds fly – even though in this case the male shows off 😉

Keep in mind that in some countries and culture peacock feathers are considered ‘bad luck’ as they look like the evil eye!

Always respect people’s own culture and beliefs when you choose or suggest a Feng Shui adjustment!

Mirrors in Feng Shui

Feng Shui Reflection in a mirrorThe so-called ‘Feng Shui aspirin’, mirrors have to be placed very carefully. When hanging your mirror, look what it actually reflects.

When it reflects clutter -> you are doubling your clutter.

When it reflects an object that makes you feel wealthy -> you will feel even richer.

When it reflects a wall, you are projecting the whole room into the mirror and creating an optical illusion and an energy extension. It is a law of physics that a mirror creates the depth equal to the observer’s distance from it.

Grandma’s Vase

Our homes reveal who we are, our strengths and our weaknesses. The objects that we have chosen to decorate where we live – carry memories.

What vibration is stored in this gorgeous blue vase that you received from your grandmother and that she had on her buffet for the past 30 years? What happened around it?

Do you remember her having a loving marriage? Then the vase will be carrying the vibes of ‘love’ and you will benefit of this in your personal relationships.

On the other hand, was your grandmother always sad and grumpy, you will be likely to feel this type of vibrations inside your home and could well see your family behaviour worsen slowly as the days go by.

In other words : choose carefully and wisely the objects that you display around you !

Readers and followers who have displayed my Love & Tenderness Feng Shui Enhancer in their homes share their stories…

I have more love and tenderness for myself, and now find that is also happening in my dealings and feelings for others. I am very grateful. – M.V. (Belgium)

I have to say my life is a little calmer in the love and tenderness section. I don’t seem to be quite so stressed, which has made life easier.  – V.G. (New Caledonia)

Thank you for the Activator – it was very good.  The relationship between my daughter and me has become very, very close again – which it hadn’t in along time. She has become engaged to marry in January and also expecting in September this year. So all good things have happened around me. – T.K. (Australia)

I placed my Feng Shui activator for love and tenderness on the wall facing my bed so that I would see it when I woke up every day.  It made me smile a lot and I think that the love and tenderness has perhaps been directed to myself. – L.K. (Australia)

I did have and do still have love and tenderness since end of December, I have been in a friendship since then with a gorgeous guy, I still have the activator in my bedroom did think would try it for 6 weeks, that you for all the help there! – E. E. (Australia)

I had placed the picture up in my relationship area in the middle of December 2010 then took it down after 9 days. I thought my fiancé would never come to Canberra for Christmas with my family as he likes Sydney Christmas’.   My partner spent Christmas for the first time with my family and myself.  We all had a great time and he said  would definitely do it again.  We also began talking about how we will get married. I also began doing volunteer work in January, but that was one of my goals for this year. – K. S. (Australia)

Well I am engaged…will get married at beginning of October this year!!!! It works Many thanks to you. P.F. (Australia)

Your gift of the Love and Tenderness activator worked well, yes I started getting hugs from friends, even from people who normally don’t give me hugs – cause I’m not a ‘huggy’ type of person and they know that.  But it could’ve been because the Christmas season was coming up and everybody was in a jolly and festive mood and we were all leaving work to go on our holiday break and wishing each other best wishes and hugs.  Perhaps I should hang it up again and see if I can get some more hugs – and a lover !  🙂 – K.J. (Australia)

Thank you for the FS Activator.  I placed it in my wardrobe and area where I need to feel more kindness for my self as I have struggled with how I feel about my body.  Also there I could see it every day as instructed.  I also intended for it to help me in my relationship with my husband and area where I offer struggle to feel both love and tenderness.  I feel it helped with both these things and so did my husband when I asked if he felt that I might had been more gentle towards him. – A.B. (Morocco)

Create your own powerful Feng Shui Mobile

23 Thursday Aug 2012

Over all my Feng Shui years, I have gathered many new ideas to create powerful Feng Shui ‘magic’ within your Décor. A few years ago I visited an Art expo in Belgium where I saw a large size illustration of an idea that works really well; so I decided to guide you to Make-Your-Own powerful FENG SHUI MOBILE.

THE RECIPE

A. Collect leaves (possibly softly curved) of a tree in your garden or in your neighbourhood. While choosing the tree, ask the Universe to show you the tree(s) that will help you with this process. Connect with your ‘new friend’ hugging it and thanking it for the leaves that you can gather. Tell it the purpose of the new use of its leaves. Be aware that you are bringing its energies in your home and there fore this connection is important.

B. Dry the leaves:  remove all damp and moisture of each leave by placing them FLAT in between Canson paper (we call this paper ‘buvard’ in French). It is a strong, thick absorbing flat paper. Once placed in between  the papers, the flat individual leaves have to be pressed. A few heavy phone directories might be doing the job if you do not have a press handy. Remember to be creative, Feng Shui makes you think outside the square and find solutions without going to buy anything!

C. Paint each leaf individually. After a few weeks of drying flat between the absorbing paper, the moist should be out of the leaves. They are now ready to be painted and receive their new purpose. Some of them even might have a few little ‘holes’ making a leaf look like lace. These are wonderful art treasures now!
While carefully painting them, keep your intent in mind—for example: “this mobile enhances Chi flow” (general purpose) OR “each leaf  helps creating a new idea” (then place it in sector 7 and paint leaves white, light grey or metal colours). Etc…
Choosing various shades of soft pastels pinks and displayed in your sector ‘2’ when finished will… YES! Enhance LOVE.

D. Glue leaves in rows and hang them with a clip on a fishing line on a circular or a square bamboo support.

E. Display your mobile inside your home in the area where you need ‘movement’. Change its placement regularly for more results.

Q. Why is it important to choose leaves from a tree in your neighbourhood?
A. It is always more powerful to use the Nature that surrounds you as it already vibrates with a known energy that you can subtly manage to your advantage.

Q. Aren’t these dried leaves ‘dead’ energy?
A. Because you have asked permission to the tree and have processed these leaves with Love and positive intent creating your Feng Shui mobile, they are ‘charged’ with ‘a mission’. The movement created with the mobile will help manifesting your wishes.

Send me your feed back and photos of the mobiles that you have created.

Tea Candles – quick results for this Feng Shui Ritual

For quite some time now, a client wanted to sell an antique dining suite which had been gathering dust in her garage. Although it was in perfect condition, it was :
1) too big for her home,
2) it belonged to her past,
3) it didn’t fit with her new lifestyle.

Anyway, she was not using it anymore. She took pictures and put it for sale on eBay. No bids after 10 days, unfortunately. Then she moved house and storage was even more of a problem so she remembered what I told her…

She wrote (engraved with a toothpick) “I welcome money” each day for 9 consecutive days on a tea candle, she lit it safely in her ‘Wealth’ corner and re-advertised her furniture on eBay for another 10 days. Well, it didn’t sell on eBay, but one of the people watching it contacted her and they agreed on a price that suited them both.

Within 2 weeks her furniture was gone to a new welcoming home interstate, and she got some space back as well as some much needed money. She was really surprised that it worked so well and so quickly!

“Thanks so much for your advice, Roseline!”
