Oct 2019

In the current October weeks, you finally start understanding how to respect yourself… I mean how to respect your mind, your body and your soul! It is only when you respect every aspect of yourself that you can respect others, not the other way around.

Every Body is a beautiful body
Every Mind seeks positivity, happiness and enthusiasm
Every Soul longs for Love because that is all what matters!

Take DAILY opportunities to respect your Body, Mind and Soul and action it with

Body – look at your body and give yourself a compliment
Mind – look at the bright side of your day
Soul – we are emotions, focus on the good emotions and joys that came to your awareness today.

Here is a little ritual for the month: 3 little steps for wonderful days.

RITUAL:

as you go to bed, summarise each of the 3 steps you took today for respecting and honouring :
– your Body
– your Mind and
– your Spirit

and you’ll enjoy a good night sleep.

Enjoy this month to the fullest ❤

I have always loved the beauty of stairs. Steps and stairs have inspired me to name my website, as each step in life takes us further.

Stairs have an amazing impact on our outlook of life and influence the Feng Shui of our home too.

Today I would like to share with you a short talk that I really enjoyed 🙂

Beam above Bed

Protruding beams above beds are certainly a Feng Shui challenge. As Chi flows, the apparent beam sends a ‘heavier’ energy along and below where the beam is running.

Beam above bed

As illustrated here, the beam would cross roughly around the breast area.

How can you counteract this?

Design a lovely and tasteful canopy so it gives you another ‘ceiling’ above your head.

In addition, having a flat / leveled / arched ceiling above your head will be much more comfortable to sleep and would give you a better health.

Whenever you feel threatened in life, especially since you realised that it has been happening ever since you moved into that new home… It may be a good idea to check how and where your home is located!

outdoor poison arrow by Roseline Deleu Feng Shui master               sha chi

In Chinese Feng Shui what is called a “Poison arrow” could well be what is making you uncomfortable. That “poison arrow” comes in many different ways, for example: a tall tree or line of trees right in line with your front door, a “T” junction of streets, protruding corner, a hospital or a cemetery  across the street and many other Sha Chi (rapid or negative Chi) that is coming towards you!

BaGua garden web1

Large Ba Gua in a Garden

In Chinese Feng Shui, people use a Ba Gua, an octagonal protection decorated by I Ching lines and often with a mirror in the middle. This Ba Gua is said to deflect negative energy and protects your home. It is important that the Ba Gua remains outdoors. So its best placement is often above the front door, on the fly screen above your head height or above a window if there is a poison arrow aiming at it.

Ba Gua gate web

A gate incorporating a lovely Ba Gua

I recently took a few photos to illustrate what Ba Gua may look like. And for those of you who can’t find one in their local shop… make your own, it is often very powerful because you add your strong intent of protection into yours.

This special Ba Gua was located above a Car Repairer in Thailand

Whichever protection you will choose, depending on your culture, they all seem to be working amazingly!

Roseline Deleu SydneyMay I remind you that Feng Shui means Wind and Water, now you clear and aware how this mission of today is important.

Now that your mailbox is shining and probably the cleanest one of your whole street, it is time to pass onto Challenge Day 2.

DAY 2 – Clean your Emails/Facebook and other multi media INBOXES

I kept this one for a Saturday because this may take ‘a while’.

Sorry to say, these days we also have another Mailbox… your INBOX(es) of your emails, your Facebook etc.

Yes, sorting the INBOXes of your email addresses, Facebook page(s) and other electronic accounts that you may have anywhere else online would be a lot of work for some of you!
Sit for an hour… or a few hours… sort emails/messages by categories or you may envisage to delete them when you are sure that you won’t need them anymore!

Do you still need to keep track of those old posts and old conversations on Facebook – are they important or can they be tossed!?

How long did it take you? How do you feel after this?

Valentines Thoughts

For many, Valentine’s day is not always ‘rose‘. Lots are still waiting to meet their soul mate and won’t probably get no message, no card, no flower today 😦

Cendrillon et son Prince.jpgTalking with a dear friend of mine yesterday, we reflected how much Walt Disney movies of our childhood had influenced us. For us girls, we loved the Prince charming stories… and many are still waiting to meet ours 😉
What struck us probably the most is the end sentence “… and they lived happily ever after.” – this thought was set in our hopes and dreams and probably is still be stuck somehow there today.  😀

I read her those few words on which I reflected recently:

“…the difference between marriage and ceremony – real marriage isn’t 2 people dashing across a bridge in rice and ribbons… it’s discovering after a lifetime that they have built the bridge together with their own hands.” – extract of Richard Bach’s book « Running from Safety – An adventure of the Spirit »

My favourite ‘recent’ Walt Disney is Wall-E – yep, I even cry when I watch Pocahontas!

So, today, if LOVE & ROMANCE are not in your life, re-decorate your bedroom and add pink colour for Love and red colour for Passion.

Reinforcing your Intents with the Feng Shui Magic Square Placements

correct placement of the magic square, easy, easy feng shui, feng shui, feng shui sectors in apartment, feng suhi, grid, love, marriage, placement, reinforce your intent, romance, roseline deleu, sectors in rooms, steps

Dear Roseline, How can I decorate my master bedroom inside the Feng Shui Magic Square? Shall I do this in relation to the main house plan/Feng Shui grid (magic square) or shall I only place the grid onto my bedroom? Areas will change as the two Magic Square (grids) overlap. How can I do to make this right? – Cheers, Alice (Perth)

Dear Alice,

The Feng Shui Magic Square – also referred as Feng Shui Grid or BaGua – can be placed on many levels as long as the placement always aligns the side ‘8-1-6’ with the entry – this is valid when we follow the Black Hat School of Feng Shui (not the Compass school).

Magic square in colour

You can thus place the Feng Shui Magic Square as follows:

Grid A – On your Block of Land
Chi Kou, which means the mouth of the Chi = relates to the entry of your block, it is where Chi (energy) enters. This is generally located at the widest entry point which most of the time corresponds to the driveway. Align the side ‘8-1-6’ of your Grid A with the driveway.
Grid A of your block of land will be the first one to check from the Feng Shui point of view. Look for any dead trees, where your bins are placed, where flowers are blooming – each and every details will have an influence on your life.

Grid B – On the plan of your apartment or house
Chi Kou is the entry door of your home/apartment as designed and defined by the architect and by your address. It is the door people would normally come and knock on when they don’t know you. I strongly encourage you to open that entry door at least once a day – especially for those of you who would use their back door which is not really good Feng Shui. Align the side ‘8-1-6’ of the Feng Shui Magic Square (Grid B) with your main entry door.
Grid B which gives you the opportunity to live and scan your Feng Shui inside. Place Grid B on one level of your house or apartment, for two levels, you will have another grid placement upstairs, at the top of your stairs which becomes your entry point upstairs.

Grid C- On each of your main Rooms
Yes, the Feng Shui grid can again be placed on each of your rooms, generally the main ones such as living room, rumpus, bedrooms. Always place the C-Grids aligning side ‘8-1-6’ with the entry of the room (if two entries, the widest or the most used is the one you’ll choose).
When placing C-Grids is when you strongly emphasise what you wish to manifest the most.

That means that all grids are on top of one another?!
Yes, indeed, they often have different entry door directions so they will easily overlap – to avoid confusion, simply stay focus on your each intent you have in mind while doing the adjustments for each grid and everything will be all right.

Intentions are your keys to success!

Please Note
One of my clients had enhanced her Romance sectors ‘2’ of her garden, home and of each rooms. She is a single mum with a young girl with special needs. She cannot imagine having a relationship with a man until her daughter is old enough to leave home one day… Nevertheless, she activated the energies in that part of all her grids! This lady does not socialise much at all and only goes out of home to school or for grocery shopping. During that time, she sees men smiling and sometimes talking to her. She never makes a step to keep in touch with them as she believes that a relationship for the next decade is impossible. – So, may I ask you… why activate Romance when you are not ready!? The grid offers 9 sectors to choose from and each opens doors to something new in life.

Roseline Deleu face photoFeng Shui always starts with common sense and logic. Activate energies and enhance your sectors only when you are ready to welcome its magic… because it can happen very fast!

Happy Feng Shui to you!

Feng Shui – Back to Basics

Always a good refresher!

Different Feng Shui Schools, easy teachings with Roseline Deleu

Feng Shui, two Chinese words Feng = Wind, Shui = Water. These two words translate in our world today as the “Art of Placement”. Through famous author Lillian Too who wrote over 100 books on the topic – these two Chinese words can often be daunting and confusing for many. There are many approaches (Schools) of Feng Shui; those that I follow, that I use for consultations, and that I teach to anyone who wish to become a Feng Shui consultant, are inspired by the Black Hat School and the Form Schools. That Feng Shui approach is easy to follow and based more on static magic square, intuition and landscapes, rather than worry of Compass directions (the latest being a more typical Asian approach). When Feng Shui started
Where our ancestors placed their huts/homes centuries ago, was based on common sense certainly protecting themselves and their family from cold winds (Feng) and floods or excess of water (Shui). This existed in ALL countries – yes, worldwide – hence why what we refer to Feng Shui today can be applied in all cultures while respecting some basic principles.

Chi is the most important component of Feng Shui. Chi is a life essence, a motivating force. It animates all things. This word could also be a synonym of cosmic breath or energy.

Encourage Healthy ChiThere are 3 different types of Chi that influence our lives:

1. Chi animates our bodies
The quality of our personal Chi can be improved with daily exercises, good food and a balanced life. It is part of your choices and responsibilities.

Ley Lines2. Chi circulates in the Earth
The Earth energies influence our health. Underground water veins and ley lines have to be detected before completing a physical healing process.

3. Chi permeates the universe
We cannot change our time of birth nor the stars in the sky at that particular moment. Heaven ChiFeng Shui relates this to Heaven Chi. In order to help us achieve life changes, consider heaven on earth and project it onto your home, sometimes to your office and daily surroundings. Placing your furniture to promote a gentle Chi flow alters your lives for the better! Would your astrology forecasts an accident on a particular day, having a correct Chi flow around you will decrease the strength of your life lesson and for example, you might just twist your ankle rather than crashing your new car.

Each kind of Chi influences the other. All of us possess a personal Chi. We vibrate; our aura expands and retracts depending on our health and moods. Our cells continually regenerate, yet our basic self is the same, that constant self is our personal Chi. Chi is the essence maintaining our physical and emotional balance, our environmental stability and the universal equilibrium.

Chi flows fast, slow, up, down, high low, in, out. It also rises, falls, sinks, floats, bends, twists, curves, inflates, and deflates.

Chi travels along curves, waves, spirals, mazes, labyrinths or straight lines. It pulses through electrical fields and disperses with the wind.

sha chiBad Chi
Negative Chi is called Sha Chi. Chi becomes Sha Chi when it carries unfavourable currents that will affect you negatively.

Sha Chi drips. It oozes through cracks, holes, broken windows and chipped items. It accumulates and stagnates in dead corners and sharp angles. Sha Chi is aggravated by bad smells, too bright lights and loud irritating noises. Sha Chi can be felt, sensed, smelled, heard and tasted. It is dangerous, sharp, rotten, contaminated, polluted, toxic and painful. It can be internal or external, hidden or apparent and it affects physical, mental, spiritual and social conditions.  Sha Chi is also produced on a grand scale by geographical faults and fissures in the earth.

Good Chi meanders

Sha Chi speeds

Easy Exercise about the Chi concept:

Look at your home with ‘Feng Shui’ eyes: do you feel that you have too many straight lines, a long corridor or any other Sha Chi around?

Get inspired from the cartoon illustrations and find your own ideas to turn Sha Chi feeling better at home webinto Chi to quickly reap the benefits – it often takes less than 9 days to feel the difference.

Room with no Windows

room-without-a-window

In the past couple of weeks I encountered a few places where rooms had no windows and I must admit that this is very challenging for people either living or working in that space!

Always looking at a blank wall or a wall with a pin board full of invoices or ‘to do’ papers pined onto it usually not very rewarding nor inspiring.

How about hanging a beautiful poster of a landscape that would open your view – OR – create a fake window with a dream landscape in the background as illustrated in the photo?

The choice is yours!
